Programmer/Exhaust

Hey guys, so I have decided that i want to put a 4" down pipe and 5" down pipe back FloPro exhaust. I was going to buy it yesterday but found out that i HAVE to have a tune for my truck to run w/o the DPF. So my question is what programmer should i go with. I know this subject has been went over a millon timesm but I want to Buy some programmer and Program it to one setting and leave it alone. I want to know what would be safe and would keep me away from problems and also improve my MPG. Thanks for all suggestions.

Is there a big difference between the black maxx and the mini max?

I see that you have the black maxx. What mpg are you getting if you dont mind me asking?

ya no problem i get right around 21 on the highway and 18-up in town, some havent seen that, others have. My dash reads out about 26 on highway and 23.5 in town.

That is some great improvments, im only getting 12mpg at the most. What tune do you run to get those types of mpg?

i really love it , there are so many options to expand on but its also really simple. It totally changes your truck for you.! your guna love it tuned.

I only run the mild tune, sometimes the wild tune when im in the mountains, its plenty of power for me and i dont want to risk anything even tho they say you wont. I would also do an egr block off and an intake, that contributes to my improvements.

Sounds great. I want to keep mine safe as you were saying. How hard is it to tune and how do you go about doing it? I want to get the 5" FloPro downpipe back thinking about the black maxx and a S&B intake. Havent thought about the egr block off. What exactly is that?
