Spartan/KEM?
Sorry if this has been covered but I'm reading that you can no longer put a KEM tune on a Spartan, is this true? I don't have a tuner but was shopping and if this is the case I think it's a strong reason to look only at the H&S or elsewhere. I was really considering Spartan but have read where some people maybe didn't like the way certain tunes shifted and got tunes from KEM and are happy but if I don't have that option I need to look elsewhere. I would rather have options. Thanks for any feedback.

You can't put KEMs tunes on the dashdaq if it has had the latest update by Spartan.

What is the fine line between the "Latest and not latest?" If any

If its a new tuner its going to be the latest. The older tuner has to be updated to the new software to be able to run the new Spartan 300 tune.

So if you already have KEM tunes and you get the V2 update, will you be able to still run the KEM tunes?

I don't think so, because spartan sends all new tunes after you update the tuner. Basically spartan will only support tuners that are updated with their new software. This will eliminate sharing the dash daq with other companies.

No. Once you update to the v2 software you won't be able to run any tune that wasn't re written for it. That's why I have yet to update. I have it in my email but won't be going on my dash daq. And now mike will be getting my business from now on

Update for the 300 tune is not worth loosing the 345 tune. |
