Thinking about buying a 6.4 performance?

Im more familur with the duramax when it comes to performance, i know with them once you go above 90-110 rwhp you can take out the stock tranny. Were is the good point for power to stop at with a stock tranny on these? I would be buying an auto. I pull a 13k camper right now but will be upgrading in the future to a heavy toyhauler proably about 18k. I was thinking like the spartan 210 tune 4" exhaust with dpf delete. Would this be safe even pulling 18k? What kind of mileage is the best with what tune? And the spartan tunes are them to the rear wheels or fly wheel?

im not sure how the trannys are with power and trailers but plenty of people making around 550rwhp with just an exhaust and tune.

I can confidently say these transmissions are bullet proof. Get a sparten TCM and you'll be fine.

The 5R110 is much stronger stock than the Allison is. You can run a 250 tune in a 6.4L without having any trans issues at all. The combo you mentioned will work great, just keep an eye on EGTs to be safe. The best mileage comes out of the higher tunes ie. 250+.
