Banks Big Hoss Bundle or Spartan for 6.4L

I just bought a 2009 F250 4x4 Lariet crew cab/6.5 ft bed. I have a 6.4L powerstroke and want to get better fuel mileage out of the truck. I looked at the Banks Big Hoss Bundle and the Spartan programer. I would like to know which one of these systems would be best for my truck.

Banks is over priced for what you get...you can not delete DPF with it either. I also do not think the Banks does any trans tuning...Spartan does all of these things..largest mileage gains will be had with higher DPF off tunes

First off welcome to the forums, you came to the right place for information. Many of us have been in your situation before so there is a lot of information reguarding these products on here.
Of the two you stated spartan is a better choice, better fuel mileage gains, more power, better tuning on your truck, and you can still use dpf on tunes. Banks doesn't have dpf off tunes so it deffinetly limits you. Along with spartan there is a few other reputable companies like sct, and h&s

Deffinetly do some searching as you will quickly find out what you want to know.

THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE FROM EVERYONE. IT WILL HELP ME IN PICKING THE BEST PRODUCT FOR MY TRUCK. HOW SAFE IS THE SPARTAN FOR THE ENGINE AND TRANY. I'M NOT GOING TO BE DRAG RACING MY TRUCK, I JUST WANT TO GET THE BEST FUEL MILEAGE I CAN OUT THE TRUCK. I WILL BE TAKING THIS TRUCK ON LONG TRIPS AND WANT TO SAVE ON FUEL.

Everything is safe with the 250 and under tunes. You would have to do some serious abuse to hurt the tranny and motor with any of the level 1 tunes.

Of the two mentioned, Spartan. However, the Banks setup is an excellent street legal package, but very spendy. I also highly suggest taking a look at H&S Performance tuners.
