Well took my first road trip with all the mods

I'm here in Disney World with the family and we drove. It wasn't that bad of a drive but I'm worn out and will not drive again if we go here again. But from Mckinney TX where I topped it off to Pensacola FL is 685 miles or so I used 31.2 gallons of diesel which comes out to be 21.9 miles. I probably could have gotten better but I was driving with the cruise control on at 72 mph and plus driving through mobile AL was all city driving but I'm very happy with the results I'm getting from my mods. Well worth the money if you ask me. Going from Pensacola to Orlando I wasn't really concern what my mpg was causing the wife was complaining about how slow I was going and we took a detour to destin so we were stoping and getting out of the truck often but from Pensacola to Orlando I got about 19.5 mpg but I was driving around 80 mph and stoping a lot.

I like it a lot. I got 18.6 on a trip back in November running the 275 at 80mph. That included running through the Smokies between Asheville and Knoxville.

JAC - I think we pretty much have the exact same truck.

Oh and I have a six year old daughter and a five year old son. So that made the trip a little longer. But we are having a lot of fun out here.

Last summer I drove the wife, 7yr old girl, 2yr old girl, and 11000lb boat from Delaware to Destin Fl(1100miles). We love Destin, go every year but it was a handful with the new boat and kids and all. Was my first haul with the truck but I got a BEST 9mpg(stock). Hope you have a great time in Fl.
