problems with KEM?
i have been reading about lots of good things from KEM but just out of curiosity has anyone had any problems daily driving the KEM 345 tune? I think i would mostly be worried about the tranny

I use the KEM 310 as a DD. Mike at KEM custom made this tune to shift softer. It shifts smoother than the 250 tune. I'am very satisfied with the tune and his customer service

KEM 345
I have been running the 345 tune with speedometer correction for a couple of months now as my daily driver and had no issues. Great power, good mileage, and shifts great also.

I have nothing but good things to say about Mike, the KEM team, and their tuning. (other than all the sales he has cost H&S over the past year or two!!!)
![]() You wont be disappointed if you run KEM tunes. |

thank you guys, can someone possibly share a link where would be a good place to buy the setup i'd like for my truck, i want the H and S black maxx with a mount and KEM tunes, and a downpipe back 5 inch dual exhaust ( single if they don't have dual 5 inch ) doesn't need to be stainless plan on painting it black anyway.and as far as intake what do you guys think ? i have been looking at VOLANT but they seem a little pricey, i had S and B on my 99 7.3 but the plastic cover cracked around the bolts in about 6 months time i was not very happy

OK I have to ask.... and if this has been asked before I am sorry but I plan to get an H&S tuner and KEM 310 or 345 tune.... but I have been told time and time again not to run either with a stock truck, I have heard competitors tunes in this range blowing head gaskets and tranny's.... What about his 2 tunes make you guys feel safe running them... I would hate to get on the freeway and jump on it which I am well known to do and hurt something in the truck.

The 345 is definitely safe to daily drive if you drive normal mostly with an occasional run. It shifts almost too easy and has a little more power than my 275. On the other hand, the Spartan 310 is super strong and I don't prefer it for daily driving. It is very touchy and ready to go but it is insane fast.
