TOO MANY CHOICES

I've been reading everyday since I got my truck and keep thinking that I know what I want. I obviously want the best bang for the buck, proven, and customer support. Most on this site speak about SCT, H&S, and Spartan but there are MANY more out there. I've been racing cars/motorcycles for 22 years and used to hop up everything that i had but pulled away from that after going to far on my Corvette. It has to be ultra dependable and not keep adding another mod one after another. As of right now all I want to delete the cat & dpf and add a programmer. I had a 7.3 and added a 100hp Diablosport chip and it was plenty. This truck has a 6" lift on 36's so may need a little more
A good friend has a shop and will give me a good deal on an SCT however a buddy at work has an H&S XRT-Pro so I came home and got on their website. If I'm not mistaken you can unplug the cat/dpf sensors and leave them in the pipe and can delete the egr with their programmer. It also has tunes up to 250hp.

With a new Spartan, you can leave them in the stock pipe as well.

Yes, the Spartan tuner allows for the sensors to be left in the DPF also.

Which ones data log and allow you to change the map?

The DashDAQ can data log 10+ parameters at one time. You can't change anything though.

H&S has shift on the fly which is my favorite part about having a chip in my 7.3L. Spartan has been proven and there are many happy customers on this site and H&S is an upcoming company. The non biast people will tell you to pick the one that suites you, call both companies and TALK to them about it. See what you like customer service is half the product IMO

The best bang for the buck is going to be an H&S XRT Pro with exhaust or if you want gauges, H&S Mini Maxx. They are our top sellers and what I recommend most. The power and shifting are excellent and the shift on the fly is a cool feature as well. Feel free to give me a holler if you have any questions on anything.
