Long time reader, first time poster!
Hello all, great site here. I just ordered a Spartan w/ CAT/DPF delete and S&B Intake today. I was thinking of also putting on a new exhaust from the delete back, to include a better looking tailpipe. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the easiest to mount up to the DPF/CAT delete I am getting from Spartan. As I mentioned, I am just thinking of going from the delete back. Thanks in advance!! Will get some pictures etc.. up soon! |

What size is the DPF/CAT delete pipe?

What's up Jeff. They said it's 4"?

I would get a 4" MBRP or a 4" Magnaflow DPF back exhaust. Both are great quality.

Off topic but will a 5" dpf back with a muffler get rid of the hair dryer sound that a stock dpf/doc delete has?

5"
![]() I've always put MBRP on all my trucks. Fit great and easy to work with. My 08 has the 4" delete pipe, and 5" MBRP filter back exhaust. |

Thanks all. So any suggestions on vendors for the MBRP set up? Oh, and with or without muffler and what type.. I.E. Stainless, chrome, etc?

Most performance part vendors can get you MBRP kits. If you go with 4" don't get a muffler. If you go with 5" I would get a muffler. 409 stainless is going to be the best quality at a good price. 304 stainless is going to be really expensive. If you don't live in a harsh environment where the roads need to be salted a lot, go with aluminized.
