Spartan Tuner

I have a 01/07 job 1 2008 F-250 pickup with almost 60k on it. I just bought the extended warranty for the truck and now I want to throw the Spartan DFP kit on. I am a little nervous about putting the Spartan on because my truck has ran so good since day one, never had it in the shop for anything but the radiator recall. Has anyone ever had the warranty revoked because ford dug deep in the computer system and seen the mods? What is all the TCM job 1 talk, can they not handle the high HP from Spartan? I am serious about buying one just a nervous to void a warranty and blow a transmission so any help from you all is much appreciated. Thanks Matt.

I'd do it. Cause even if you leave it stock and something major (cost of repair) goes down, FMC will break it off in your *** anyway and deny, deny, deny.

If you run our basic level 1 license, you will be fine with your motor and transmission. Put the truck back 100% stock before seeing the dealer and you won't have any issues.

The 250 tune is more than enough for most people, especially for daily driving.

I appreciate all the advice. What kind of tune is a level 1 license 250, 210? Remember I am new to all this and I have read a lot of older pages to do research but the info is so scattered and so conflicting. And for the record there is no problems with the TCMs on Job 1 trucks and Spartan tuners?

Most of the tuners offer stock without dpf, 75 and 150hp tunes that will work for you. What ever tune you choose will be good because it will stop dumping fuel in the pan. It's all good.

Level 1 License:

DPF on - 40 hp, 75 hp, 125 hp, 150 hp
DPF off - Stock NR, 40 hp, 75 hp, 125 hp, 150 hp, 175 hp, 210 hp, 210 tow, 250 hp

There are no issues with the Job 1 TCM's. We highly recommend that anyone who doesn't plan on upgrading their transmission, but wants to run the 310 tune, upgrade to our TCM. Other than that, the Job 1 TCM's are solid.
