TC Lock and Black Max

Installed the black Max 3 weeks ago and WOW! this thing is sweet. I have about
3k miles on it now and have noticed the last few days that the trans(?) is getting hung up right before the TC locks up. The TC is set to lock around 55/60mph. IT seems that right before the lock the trans is confused on where to go.

I do alot of highway driving (75%) should i lock the TC up earlier? It also seems like a pretty hard shift between 2 and 3. Any Ideas?

Not sure if it in my signature

I think I have the firm shifts loaded I will have to check, had a shop do the install. I have noticed this with partial acceleration, but want to say it happened on the hot tune two nights ago at WOT.

Ok, then you have the stock settings. Yes, your mini maxx is on a firm setting. I had the same problem until I went to race shifting. The race shifting never misses, but it will shift very firm if you don't have traction/ladder bars.
