Affordable DPF Delete / Tuner kit

It seems all of the quality tuners cost $1k + exhaust and have way more features and power upgrade than I want. I want to save fuel and money. I tow and I will not use anything more than a mild tune. So I want a well refined tune for mild power gain and better MPG with DPF delete. I'm out of warranty so traceability is not critical but I don't want one that ruins stored diagnostic info.

If money was no object I'd get the Spartan because I appreciate the value of developing a good robust tune, but the fancy display and hot tunes put it out of my practical price range. On the other hand I can't find detailed reviews on the cheaper chips and I don't trust their tunes. (It would be great if Spartan sold a cut-down tune set with their older display)

Input please. I'm more than willing to search on a particular product to save folks from typing common knowledge.

Call Aaron at Rudy's for a price on the H&S Mini and DOC/DPF delete pipe. Shift on the fly and the tunes you need are there. I bought mine with the very same needs as your's and very happy with the results.

i would also go h&s. you could do the XRT race tuner to save some $$$ along with the DPF/DOC deletes for Rudy's

I suggest going with either the H&S XRT Pro if you are looking to stay under $1k for a package. The XRT Pro units were just released and are now shipping. PM me or give me a call if youd like package pricing.

Ordered a xrt pro with 5" downpipe back today! pumped! cant wait to get that dpf off.
