09 f250 6.4 exhaust HELP!!

I got the Banks dual exhaust DPF back with the flo-pro cat/dpf delete kit and a diesel glass pack type of muffler running the superchips racing tuner. Cant stand the way it sounds and need some advice on what to get on it to make it sounds like it should. i know these 6.4's arent too loud but its got to get better sounding than what i got now.

To get better/more sound you will need to get rid of the muffler. If thats not the sound you were looking for, a 5" down pipe back kit is about your only other option.

Yea i had it without the muffler and it sounded like a damn hair dryer. Wasnt sure if a different muffler other than a glasspack would make it any better. I heard one the other day that was a single, and it had a little bit of a "Kackle" to it, if that makes any sense. Anyone know what sounds i would get out of 5" down pipe back?

I have powerstroker67s 5" delete pipe to go with a 5" magnaflow dpf back kit with a muffler. it's not very loud but has a deep mellow tone now and almost all the hairdryer sound is gone. got the delete pipe from rudy's and got the other stuff from performance truck parts. both have great service!

i have the 5 inch down pipe , 5 inch all the way back to 6 inch tip ( i do have a muffler) but i only get the hair dryer when im back by the exhaust. Then again im use to a 6.2 gm with magnaflow so it may just be me, but it doesnt seem like the hairdryer is up front, never really bothered me tho, but from what i have heard 5" deffinately helps.
