Exhaust, CAI and Tuner

I recently purchased a S&B CAI and MBRP DPF back Exhaust system for my 08 F350. I'd also like to add a tuner but wondering if I'll really notice any significant difference in power or mileage with these mods.

I know the question has been asked a hundred times but which tuner is recommended? I need to be a little budget conscious as well.

From my reaserch here tuning with the dpf still on doesn't net much gain in regards to mpg and it propbably would not be worth the cost. You really need to delete the DPF/CAT to see the improvement. I ran my truck with the SCT performance tune (dpf on) for a day before doing the delete and the power was noticeable (not huge but noticeable) but I can't comment on mpg.

I know Spartan, SCT and H&S all have DPF on tunes - SCT being the cheaper of the three and H&S and Spartan are close in price.

The best bang for the buck tuner on the market in my opinion is the H&S Black Maxx. I dont think it can be beat for power/features/functionality for the price. If you are looking to spend less than what it goes for, I would suggest waiting on the XRT Pro to be released. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
