Suncoast Go Boom
Well my Suncoast Tranny took a dump today. I have not beat on the truck in a long time, wasnt beating on it today but when it shifted 3-4 it went boom, lost all power and will no go into any gear. Its sitting at Ford now going to be torn apart in the morning. When I start the trucks it makes a loud whinning sound.
Any Ideas?

WOW, hate to hear that. Was this a built trans form Sun Coast? If it is doesn't it have a warranty? Hope they get it fixed and keep us posted on what is is. I was going to get one after the first of the year. Now maybe not.

It has all Sun Coast parts but was assembled by my Ford Dealer.

Converter is stripped and the Billet input shaft is worn as well.

Nope, I run the 275 all the time, have never towed on the new trans, and the truck has never been launched or raced. Just my daily driver, no nitrous, turbos, injectors etc. Just a tuner
