EGR Delete w/wastegate ?

I am getting ready to do a EGR delete w/wastegate and Elite Studs. I am running the 300 tune by Spartan. Does anyone know if I will have new tunes after these changes or will the ones I have work?

As long as you have a Level 3 tier license, everything will be good to go. You have a batch of EGR delete tunes up to the 250 tune. All of the race tunes are setup for EGR deletes.

I am running the race tunes and have a level 4 license and the TCM, I assume that I will still be good to go with the EGR delete w/wastegate and Studs without any modification to the Tuner correct? I can do the job start it and run it? I am wanting these upgrades to cool down EGT's at WOT and to lower the mgp's.

Yes, you will be fine Stanley. Just know that the wastegate will take a lot of manual tuning. They aren't the easiest things to get right. I don't really know how much of an EGT decrease you will see out of it. It's main purpose is getting rid of the EGR coolers and relieving back pressure.

Hey Jeff I did a elete with wastegate and at max I make 30 to35 lbs of boost seems before the install it was 40 to 45 had it back a second time check for leaks none changed spring in wastegate didnt help I have a sct livewire on a 2010 350 6.4 is it the tune maybe??

Do you have any codes? It's either tuning or the gate is not set properly.

Or the wastegate seat fell out, or its not seated properly. Make sure whoever does the EGR delete knows what they are doing. Both times a dealership did one for a customer, it came to us for us to fix.

Yes pretty sharp people did the install even went to elete tech surport that is why spring replacement in wastegate truck runs great it just doesnt get same boost as before and i was thinking tuning and looking for more input which I greatly thank you!

If its the same tunes as before and you were getting more boost before, its not the tuning its something mechanical. Either you need to adjust the regulator, change the way the wastegate is plumbed, wastegate seat is not there, wastegate is not seated properly. That would be the likely issues.

yeah I pulled hose from regulator to wastegate off and drove it like that. I can here wastegate at times open and closing being drivers side firewall is there a standard boost the 6.4 produces or are they all different???
