H&S Mini install

After 67,000 miles and three years I decided to give the truck a present, a H&S Mini Maxx and a DOC/DPF pipe. The primary reason, I was tired of seeing 4.5+ % of fuel in the oil. I chose the Mini Maxx because of the shift on the fly and no sensors. I was stuck along the freeway one time because a sensor went out. Before the tuner I was getting 19.2 highway and 16.5 city. Before all the naw sayers throw the BS flag the manual trans has a lot to do with it. I ran the truck on the mild tune for 110 miles and no change in the mileage. I will not run any higher tunes for now because of the stock clutch.
Don’t really care about that though. Now for the good, bad and ____. I really like the Mini and all the features. If you decide to buy one install the tuner first. You can run it with the DPF still on. The reason? If something goes wrong there is little or no support, info during the weekends . During the week H&S resolved my install issue in less than 15 min. Now the good part. Aaron at Rudy’s is the man to see if you need tuners etc. He will put together a package for you that will be hard to beat. He also will answer all your questions, never rush you off the phone and even add some advice. Customer service…………….none better.

OK. I promised an update. After 4700 miles I now get 20.8 highway and 18.2 city. I have been running a KEM 75HP and a cycle the ERG valve at idle tune. Changing the oil soon and can't wait to see the % of fuel. or lack of in the oil.

That's pretty good mileage. Are you hand calculating or going off the dash?
