6.4 upgrades
hey guys new to the diesel thing here. Just got an '08 F250 and it has an S&B intake on it already. Just confused on what I gotta do for exhaust and this DPF filter? I would like to run 5" straight pipe the whole way. Does the programmer fool the computer to say that its still on there or how does that work? What programmer do you guys recommend? Any problems that I may run into too? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Spartan H&S and Sct would all be good choices. From what I understand the tuner just shuts off they emmisions system. You can not remove the Dpf without a tuner.

I cranked my truck right before I tuned it when I ripped the DPF off...had a nasty lope to it. sorry to derail, but it sounded bada$$

Depends on what you want to do with it, but H&S is going to be hard to beat now that KEM is going to be able to load tunes onto them.....

Thanks for the sound bite! Is that straight the whole way from Turbo back? With what tuner to get I'm not familiar with that so I don't need one to change shift points and everything cause I wont be doin that anyhow.. just something for more horsepower and torque
