Thumbs down Totally DISAPPOINTED!!!

Well Boys... and Girls, I am TOTALLY disappointed with my Edge EVO CTS RACE.

I have 2010 psd fx4 Super Crew

DPF & CAT Delete 4 inch from turbo back

I drive 80% highway, and 20% country roads with minimal stop signs.

I have seen little to NO increase in mpg's. At most maybe .5-1 mpg increase.

This has me confused and feeling like a sucker.

Any thoughts out there??

How long have you been driving it tuned? Mileage before? After?

I have been driving on the tuner and dpf/cat delete about 30-45 days.

mpg before was 14 mpg, running about 30-40 days on the tuner an dcat/dpf delete... getting about 15 mpg, not quite 15.

Nowhere near everyones quotes of 17-19!

lol

try throwing on a intake! sounds little but can help alot especially if you are running an exhaust and tune already. Chances are it till go up alteast 1 to 2 if not more cas right now you still have alot of restrictions.

well, 15 is pretty good on a 6.4 and it is an edge so you really can't expect much

I personally have seen good gains with a tuner and CAI. What are your tuner settings? I am running mine on the highest setting, and everything I have read posted on the org, and elswhere, says that is the way to improve mileage. I am still running stock exhaust too

I am getting 20 mpg, up from 12-13 hand calculated. Running a BullyDog GT on "Extreme", S&B CAI, and stock exhaust. DPF regens at the same intervals it always has, lasts about 2 mins longer than it used to. It works out I "save" about $90/month on fuel so far. I plan on upgrading to a Mini Maxx, and doing a CAT/DPF delete pipe soon.

So your claiming a 7-8 mpg increase with a DPF on tuner?

geeze

Mine have all been hand calculated and I still dont see what the deal is... I dont get on it, I have tried on the lowest power setting and the highest power setting. They both put out the same in mpg. not sure what else to do at this point besides an intake. Tired of throwing money at it to help the mpg's
