Well I started with a Spartan and now I am running KEM tunes which are amazing. I run the 345 tune daily. When it starts to get cold I turn it down to 310 then to 275 when it’s really cold. I do my plowing on the 275 tune. If you were concerned about the shifting then you could turn it down to 210 or whatever. I also do most of my plowing in 4Low, and I keep a good eye on the Trans temp. The Trans temp isn't a problem in 4 low but it will climb when plowing in 4hi if you’re pushing deep snow. I wouldn't turn it down to stock innless you absolutely wanted to. I like having the extra horse power. It’s hard enough turning it down to 275 for me.

I run the 210 tune plowing just because i have a 1.5 yard spreader in my bed loaded with salt. NO problems just keep an eye on gauges.
