Black Max Spartan Mount

Well i finaly pulled the trigger on the black max after reading up on these two for the last 1.5 years. My black max will be here the end of the week.

Heres my question, I had seen several months back that someone mounted their Dash Daq/Black Max on the back side of their cup holder so they could flip it down to hide it.

I was trying to find this thread again bc this is what i would like to do. If anyone has any pictures of how they did it, that would be great, thanks.

I have never seen it done with a Black Maxx, but I have seen it done with the DashDAQ. There is even a mounting system for the DashDAQ and cup holder.

I was told Akron makes the mounts for the H&S products. If you do a search you will find they make all kinds of different mounts. You can even find them on ebay.

Thanks, so are you saying that it wouldn't be possible to mount it on the back side of the cup holder?

I just dont want it on the windsheld or over the driver side air vent.

I don't think it is impossible to mount it there, just don't thank anyone makes a kit. I have not seen a kit at least for the Black Maxx. However, I am sure if you go to a stereo shop that makes custom enclosures they could fab something up.
