From what I have heard with the stage 2 and the s&b its a toss up. But the stage 2 si flows more air which would be good if you upgrade to larger turbos. Either will be good for your setup. I have the s&b with a mini maxx and it has been great.

I like it. Its loud when I want it to be but cruising it isn't near as loud as my 6.0 with a straight pipe. I have heard a 4" straight pipe and mine is a good bit deeper and sounds better to me

Both are excellent intakes and have their ups and downs. I run the S&B on my truck, but would no problem running an AFE.
AFE PROS: Choice of 3 different filter media, easy to install, easy to replace filter AFE CONS: Price is higher than S&B S&B PROS: Enclosed box, excellent pricing, Dry or oiled filter S&B CONS: Install is more difficult than AFE, filter changes are more difficult than AFE |

I love my AFE Stage II w/ PG-7 filter. Both are great options though. Nate hit the nail square on the head above with the "pros and cons."
