Best programmer for fuel economy.

I have 2010 6.4 with 1000 miles on it. Just did a dpf and cat delete with a AFE cold air intake and an XRT tuner. While i am happy with the power increase I didn't get the increase in fuel economy that I was expecting. Cruise set at 65mph only gained about 2mpg on all settings. Is there a programmer out there that has tunes that are better for fuel economy than the XRT without having to buy extra tunes? I have been looking at SCT and Spartan but all I see is posts on power not economy.

If you drive really high power tunes easily, then you will get good mileage.

I agree I didn't buy the truck for the fuel economy. I just traded my 06 Dodge Megacab 5.9L that was getting 23mpg for a new F-350 at 13mpg. No regrets but I keep hearing the DPF/Cat delete will gain 6mpg and I just have not seen that. I set the cruise and drive just as I did before and the delete gained me about 2mpg.

I am a service and parts manager for a Ford dealership and finally gave into the pressure about owning a Dodge and working at a Ford dealership.

Don't feel like the lone ranger. I'm in the same boat with a H&S tuner. Have tried everything and these great MPG gains you read/hear about sure as hell seem more of a myth than fact. Marketing hype? Not sure.

+1 here, I hear all these outrageous claims by people like I run 38s getting 18mpg, i run blah blah and get 20mpg. I have to call bs or these people have no idea how to hand calc gas mileage. To and from work i get a best of 13 and on long highway trips maybe 15 if I am lucky. Im running a small read lift leveling kit on 35s. Spartan 250 tune, S&b intake, and flo-pro 4" with CAT/DPF delete
