They sound really cool, but I don't think they are necessary on stock turbo's. I would do them on a set of Elite tow power compounds since they are modified stock turbo's.

So do you loose the spool down sound completely? I love hearing the turbos around town when I let off the gas.

Depends on how sensitive you have the valve set. It can be adjusted.

I knew that before I purchased it but I figured hey, I'm buying the Cold side pipe what the hell might as well add the BOV.

It has a wire for what's called the clutch and you can wire a switch to disable the BOV on demand which thought was pretty cool you can also program alot of perameters on it. Also, if you watch the video closely you can see that on the 13 second mark of the video I re-apply the throttle and the valve closes immediately on demand and only releases a small percentage of boost.
