Cab may be coming off...what to upgrade?!
I just got off the phone with my Ford diesel tech and it looks like my hpfp may be going out (P0087 coming back on after wot). He said not to worry about my programmer, just bring it in and he'll warranty everything that is wrong. I've also lost about 4 gallons of coolant on the driveway too. This is the same tech that warrantied my transmission at 30k when it went out.
He said the cab will come off if its the hpfp. I asked about him doing an egr delete and possibly studs while the cab is off. He said that wouldn't be a problem, that we'll discuss that on the side. What else should I do to the truck while the cab is off? Not looking at spending 10,000 on fuel and turbos, just longevity inducing mods. I plan on keeping this truck for years and need it to remain my reliable dd. |

Definitely do studs and an EGR delete w/wastegate.

id do the downpipe, studs, egr delete, all depends how big u wanna go, if i had the money id do valve springs and pushrods while the cabs off
