Has anyone ever run the Spartan 250 tune at the track? Just for $hits and giggles? I have a close friend who was bragging on his times last night, and since I've never raced I didn't have any times to retaliate with. BTW, he's driving a 68 camaro, not a diesel truck. I'm positive he'd take me, but its nice to talk trash...

basically all I have is the 250 tune, CAI, and no DPF/CAT. Oh, and running on 37" MT's....

Can anyone estimate how embarrassing my times might be? Or may not be...

...and I might go here and try my luck... but doubt it.

talk to 08stroker250. he will probably have the best estimates on what it will be. and depending on what your friend has done to that camaro, you might be able to beat him. i had a 07 mustang GT with intake, SCT, 4.10s, and full exhaust, and i raced it running the 310 tune and whooped it pretty good. i've beat lots of sports cars since then. and i'm on a 6" lift on 37s.

i ran a 13.81 on the 250 tune with 35's and a 2in lift...

With the 37's, you might be able to get a 13.9X out of it with a good 60 foot. That would be assuming that you are somewhat close to sea level. I ran a 13.87 with the 210 tune, but that was on 32" Toyo Proxes, with traction bars, and with a fully built Suncoast.

I found out some more about that Camaro over the weekend. First off, it isn't a camaro. Its a Firebird. 1968. With a 400 Pontiac motor. Holley 650. 3-speed automatic... I'm pretty sure I couldn't beat him at least not with a 250 tune. Might scare him a little though.

I would say you could probably get off the line better, but from there.....well you know how that story would probably go

haha..you could probably hang with him up to about 50 and then he'd probably smoke ya.

we have a one of the new vettes here that is pretty fixed up. he was messing with me one day so i decided to go for it. i hung with up to about 40 and then he flew past me. but he was pretty pissed that i could even do that.
