Throttle Pedal Tension

Posting this without checking on the truck first...

Is there a way to loosen the tension on the "gas pedal" so its not so hard to push? Mine's not abnormally tight, but with the higher tunes, it makes it harder to "feather". Its like all or nothing.

That is just how it is with the higher horsepower tunes. The throttle sensitivity is much greater. It can be toned down in the tuning. What tunes are your referring to?

I know about the sensitivity of the higher tunes. I only run the 250 (plenty for me as a DD)(and I can't afford any higher). My wife needed to drive the truck last night (EEEKS) and she found it hard to push the pedal. and when she got it moved away from the zero position, she was too far into it. so I thought if it was easier to press initially, it wouldn't get over-accelerated. Make sense? I suppose I oughta just re-tune it when I know she needs to drive it.
