SCT tuner Help

I am looking into buying a tuner.. i use my truck for work so i need it to be reliable.. any one have an sct for the 6.4? Pros? Cons? is this the tuner i should get? please help

it is good choice,custom tune on it from innovative or KEM,truck will love you

which one is better? and why do i need the custom tunes are the ones that come with it not that good?

do you tow alot? i have a spartan and love it would not trade for anything,But the SCT is a more cost efective and you can get the same tunes from kem.also there is the H&S stuff which has tune on the fly,and does not cost anything to switch between trucks.love the DASH DAQ but there are less expensive options

i dont tow with this truck as much as my others but i do plow alot with it... have you heard anything bad about the sct?

SCT, Spartan or H&S is the way to go.... their are a bunch of diff ways you can do it and diff price ranges that go from the 600's to way over 1k

were going to have a pretty good sale on the SCT's with innovative tunes coming up this week...

let me know if you have any other questions or need prices

send me some prices? what tuner do you think is the best for the truck on power and mpgs? i need to have my truck reliable so keep that in mind

First of all, very nice truck in your avatar... Looks a little familiar....


Second of all do NOT get the SCT unless you have the custom tunes. I wouldn't even recommend the SCT even if you had custom tunes, but it is a very cost effective solution. I'm looking into the H&S Mini Maxx because the cost is lower than the bigger H&S and the Spartan, and you still get good tunes.

I had some issues with SCT tech support where they kinda just left me hangin because I was only one person having an issue. I've seen similar things happen with H&S and Spartan(mainly) where there's a problem posted and those guys will do anything they can to help fix the issue.
