Spartan Dyno Numbers

Yesterday I had my dyno day here in GA with Black's Diesel Performance. I put my truck on the rollers three different times and tried the beta tune, 350 tune, and 210 tune.

Beta Tune - 537/1075

350 Tune - 555/1101

210 Tune - 468/910

Overall I was not impressed with the curves on the beta tune, but was impressed with the power. The 350 tune had a solid curve, but just didn't make the peak power I expected it too. I think not having the traction bars and the truck being back on 35's hurt it a little bit. The 210 tune was extremely impressive though. This was the same tune I ran a 13.87 with back in June. I am definitely happy with it. All of these numbers are uncorrected.

There was also a bone stock 6.7 Power Stroke there that hit the rollers. Truck did not have the 400/800 flash from Ford and put down 337/6XX to the rear tires uncorrected. Needless to say, I wasn't the only person impressed with the numbers!

those are some serious numbers with that 250 tune... i would be happy

I was disappointed mainly because peak power when I dynoed at TS Outlaw with the same tune was 572, but that was corrected of course....and my truck had Proxes and traction bars at the time. The weather was perfect yesterday when I dynoed though. It was right around 70 degrees and less than 30% humidity.

Good post...It's nice getting to see what kind of numbers these tunes actually put down. Seeing that your variables were how they were on that day...I'd say you did good.

ya your logic seems pretty straight to me. just really good to see these 6.4's continue to put down these power numbers

The 350 tune seems way low. I dynoed 562 with a 310 tune that had been on the truck for a couple months. Thats on 37s. Will the corrected numbers be higher?

08 F350 4x4 CCSB 6.4, 6" on 37s and 22s, Spartan DD w/ 310/KEM 345, Elite HPFP, Ported rails, EGR delete w/ wastegate, studs, CFM +, Rudys IC pipe, BD BOV, FASS 150 w/ custom fuel system, S&B intake, Rudys downpipe and DOC/DPF delete, CCV mod, Zex nitrous, Suncoast Trans, 1 piece drive shaft, Recon and tint everywhere. Under Construction

Yes, the corrected numbers will be higher. The only thing that shows how strong the 350 tune is how long through the RPM's it hold power above 500 horsepower. Peak power has sucked with it every time I have dynoed with it, but it's ability to hold power is awesome.
