New or used? Used, I would search the junkyards for a totaled truck or check e-bay. There are a few for sale all the time there. New, I would check tascaparts.com. I don't think they sale a complete crate motor, but they do sale everything to put one together.

I have a 1973 FJ40 and got an entire late model tundra engine/trans/transcase that I am about to start fabrication into it. You can get full electronics as well if needed. Being in Delaware, it would be hard but they will actually set it up and let you see it run. They ship anywhere and are a top-notch outfit...

Me too, and there's regularly quite a few on there. But shipping would be a killer if you're not from Texas.

I think it depends on the shipping company, I would call. I had an engine shipped from CA for 100 bucks a few years ago. Though it only weighed a few hundred pounds.
