Which tuner for 2010 after warranty

Which tuner is the best after the warranty is up? Criteria being best MPG and safest for the engine. The truck really has plenty of power in the stock form for me just would like to get better MPG and get rid of that darn DPF. Just don't want to risk it while under warranty.

I recommend the Spartan tuner, but I may be a little biased on the subject. I will say that even before Spartan hired me, I still recommended it. You can't beat the DashDAQ monitor. It's touch screen, GPS capable (extra $ of course), great at reading and clearing codes, and can monitor quite a few parameters using multiple and customizable gauge themes. The tuner comes with 13 tunes out of the box. 4 DPF on tunes up to 150 horsepower and 9 DPF delete tunes up to 250 horsepower. There is also a tow tune included that was designed to keep your transmission happy while towing heavy loads. We also offer a few higher horsepower tunes for additional costs, but it seems that you are interested in just DPF removal and better fuel economy, so I would recommend sticking with the basic tuner for now.
