singing the airdog blues....
Well getting this Airdog 150 system going has been nothing less then PITA for me. I finally welded up a custom mounting bracket thats attached to the skid plate at the front of the fuel tank becuase I could not find a spot anywhere on the driver side frame rail where there wouldnt be some kind of body contact or clearence issue ...so after I got that problem solved I ran into another problem and that is ive been hearing that these fuel systems cause your truck to run out of fuel around an 1/8 of a tank because its difficult to get the aftermarket pickup tube to work even close to what the factory one can, which for me is basically a deal breaker especially considering the decreased range and the fact that the first time I run the truck Im going to have to figure out at what point the truck becomes starved of fuel and risk causing damage to the rest of my fuel system and injectors. So here is my question can I just run connect the airdog to the factory pickup location??? I know I could get it took hook up fine I just dont want it to damage the airdog or something because of the slight decrease in flow compared to the aftermarket pickup tude. thanks for help guys.
