Damaged afe intercooler, plus installed pics + cold side pipe

Take a look at this guys and tell me if you think it will be okay or if I need to send it back. Dent doesn't cover the whole side just one small corner. I got t from a vendor on hear that I know would rectify it just don't know if it is really worth all the hassle.

looks like it should be fine... did you get shipping insurance? looks like UPS wasn't real gentle with your inter cooler.

Yeh, it was insured and already sent pics to the vendor. Turns out the outer is just a piece of bar stock. Vendor offered to replace it but I am not worried about it. If it runs and cools egts that's what I bought it for.

I will get it installed and romp on it a bit and see how the new cold side pipe and cooler like the truck.

Just curious what the benefits of this cooler are and what you hope to get from it.

I am hoping to see a pretty good drop in egt's with the intercooler and cold side pipe + improve my throttle response. Just got everything installed going to take a shower and taker her out for a spin.

And a pic of the exhaust for fun

It runs fine , egts at 65mph dropped 75deg. Now at wot they dropped 400deg+ . The throttle is a lot different and builds a lot of boost faster during normal driving. All in all with the added feel for the throttle I would say its worth it plus the wot egt drops.
