ok well after some screwin around on youtube in class today i found the video of the single turbo 6.4 i was wondering what the deal with that is... it sounded absolutley awesome

go to google and search "single turbo 6.4" there is a huge thread about it over on powerstroke nation..they have actually had really good luck with single turbos on these engines.

There are only two single turbo 6.4's that I know of. One is Dzchey21's truck and the other is the the American Ride sled pull truck. Dzchey21 is a moderator over on PowerStrokeNation that competed in the Diesel Power Challenge this year. He won the sled pull competition and placed in the middle of the pack overall. I believe he ran a S475 in the DPC but is now running I think a 66mm charger that is a lot more streetable than that big charger. Both trucks are making great power and are running really well with them. Definitely a cool conversion!
