need some quick help banks or spearco

I have read probably 300+ pages on every forum and can not find one decent comparison between the two. I have seen failures from both. But as far as performance wich one is actually better. I can get the banks for $300 cheaper but the question is in Texas heat is that $300 worth it compared to the larger spearco. Spearco claims a 1psi drop what drop does the banks have. Witch one really flows better and cools better. I have seen a few switch from banks to spearco and a few from spearco to banks. So all in all im confused and it seems a toss up can some of you guys shed some light on this I plan to purchase this weekend due to sales. Thanks in advance for your comments.

I would go Banks. The Spearco may perform a little better (maybe), but its larger and I've read it shadows the other coolers too much and makes the fan come on more often, especially in stop and go traffic and towing. The Banks cast tanks look like they would flow better as well.

The pressure drops should be about the same and the size difference would likely only account for a small drop with intake temps and EGTs

I went ahead and ordered the banks from Rudy. He had it listed as instock. I hope it keeps my egt's from climbing as fast as they do. I have a feeling I am going to have to change the down pipe, the one item I was holding off on changing.

To lower your EGT, COOLINGMIST METHANOL INJECTION SYSTEM claims to lower your EGT up to 300* & gains of 100 HP.

Id go with banks. They seem to have the best design and flowing spearco is mainly for looks.

I put the AFE in my personal truck, couldn't be happier with it. After a month or so running it, I haven't noticed any increase in coolant temps and the EGT's are noticeably cooler.
