Plow guys.. need some Tuner Info

I snow plow in the winter and would like to get better MPG plowing.

Anyone have any experience with their tuners and plowing? What settings? etc..

Finally after owning the truck for almost 3 years its time to pull the trigger and get my Tuner.

I have only had my tuner for 1 winter, so i'm no pro. But I run Innovative Diesel custom tunes. In the winter I leave it mostly on the 65 HP tow tune. But have plowed with the 150 HP street tune with no problems. Go for it. You won't regret it !. The truck is so much fun to drive and you do get more mpg's. But who cares about that when you can go fast.

i ran the spartan 250 plowing some last winter and had no issues, slight improvement over stock fuel consumption , keep the monitor on and watch it ! best advise i have. i dont plow a lot but i do live in Maine so i plow enough ! i try to be easy on the truck but i dont baby it either if i want to move some snow it is going where i want it if you get my drift.
my truck is an 09 ccsb srw i have a fisher 8.5 extreme v and i add about an approximate 1500lb concrete slab in the bed for traction much happier with the spartan than without, however id be curious to hear from someone with an hs that plows

Make sure your truck has the snow plow package because if you dont then you will have to change your fan clutch with the one from plow package. I ran into a problem last winter while carrying my plow due to fan clutch not engaging.
