Lets hear the opinions. How much benefit is actually gained by going from a 3.5" down pipe into a 4" or 5" DP back exhaust versus just deleting the doc/dpf and running a stright piped stock 3.5" exhaust? As always, thanks to those that can lend a hand!
im about to do a 4"dp into a custom 6"or7"dp back and exit before the back tire but definatly go with a 5" delete and filter back itll give it a much deeper sound.. what yall think bout my custom idea? 6 or 7?
You will get much better flow, and it sounds waaayy better. My buddy has his stock exhaust straight piped on his '03, and my '03's turbo whistle is way louder, and it sounds a lot better at WOT, but the same amount of cab noise.
Yes you can. They have full delete kits that merge the 4" downpipe into a 5" downpipe back delete kit. I went for the full 5" delete with a muffler and the sound is amazing. The muffler gets rid of that jet engine noise and you get a much deeper growl out of it.
