Tuner Help?

I'm sure this has been asked 100 times, and yes, I've searched and read more than I care to read. I'm new to the Ford world and need some help here.

I need someone to tell me what the difference is between the SCT Livewire and Phalanx with KEM tunes is? Is just the monitor itself different or are there other differences?

The difference is that you have the SCT Livewire that is capable of loading a KEM tune and you have the Spartan Phalanx (DashDAQ) which is also capable of loading a KEM tune. You cannot buy a Spartan Phalanx without Spartan tunes though. You pay the $1249.00 for our tuner, and then if you want KEM tunes you buy them separate.

Thanks Jeff! I didn't realize I had to buy the Phalanx with the Spartan tunes. I thought I could buy it with the KEM or Spartan tunes. I'm glad I asked.

Now that I know that, what can you tell me about the Spartan tunes? I'm not interested in adding 200+ hp. How are the smaller tunes working out? Interested in 75-150 so I don't have to worry about hurting anything.

Hell you can run a 250 tune and not worry about anything.

Yea, like stated above....there isn't much to worry about until you get above 250 horsepower tunes. Yes, YOU could tear your truck up with the 250 tune, but it would take a lot of abuse and not taking care of your truck for that to happen.....and I meant a LOT of abuse.
