Did I miss understand the guys at Rudy's?

Hey everyone I just finished installing my Spartan upgrade and WOW!!! Its a great product!!!
The install went fairly well, but had a few questions. I called Rudy's about the pressure sensor because I wasnt sure what to do with it (this was before I found the hardware pack in the box). They said the pressure sensor wasnt needed anymore, to just plug it up and zip tie it out of the way??? Did I miss understand him or is that true? I ended up installing it after I found the hardware baggy... I was just really excited and missed it at first.
Just wondering why it wouldnt be needed anymore?

BTW the guys at Rudy's were great and have great products. I will order all my products through them

i'm not sure about that? I know with H&S you don't need to but any of the sensors back in but i hadn't heard about leaving them out with the spartan. Did it still run?

Yeah it ran fine without it with no errors, but once I saw the valve still sitting on my bench I installed it.

It's not needed, we put the fitting in because it looks better with everything in place.
