looking for some extra mpg
hey im sure this question ahs been asked a lot and it might b kinda like beating a dead horse but whats soom good tips for driving with the best fuel econ. i know it has a lot to do with location, hills, trffic, etc. most of my driving is half hwy and half city (base traffic for those military guys). im looking for more of a good rpm estimate or other mods i might b able to put on the truck. i normally keep my rpm @ or below 2k for acceleration and my avg cruise is @ 45-55 with an frp averaging at 6k.

Fasten your seat belts. Set back for the tuner review.
The main thing I found that works is try your best to keep the boost below 10psi when starting off, and travling down the highway. |

If you can get/keep the converter locked with a higher tune, the mileage will go up some. The converter on the 250 tune isn't going to stay locked below 50 mph. The 275 and 310 tunes will yield better mileage in your mph range because they lock at 45 mph.

that kinda sux cause i have to re buy the 275 tune. i got with spartan and got nothing back but the package i bought was the 275 tune with the flo-pro 5" exhaust. still anxiously awaiting that 275.

Have you contacted us??? If you purchased the tune once, you are not going to have to purchase it again. Did you purchase it directly from us, or through a vendor of ours?

i got it through rudys and was trying to talk to mick about it but havent gotten anything back. i even sent him pm on the site.

Call the office Monday. Mick rarely gets on the forums, he just doesn't have the time these days. Talk with Donna, and let her know your issue....and that you paid for the tune through Rudy. If Donna is busy, then talk with Angela. She will get you taken care of also.
