I read a thread some time ago where someone was looking to find a kit to upgrade thier clamps/bands on intercooler tubes and what-not. There were some replies with various links to vendors etc, and when I went to the sites, I recognized the parts as ones I used at my old job and knew that they were available direct from the clamp company.
Now, I just looked at the "6.4 Bible"
Powerstroke 6.4L Bible Page and noticed that the photos already showed these types of clamps so maybe Ford upgraded since my 08 job 1, but mine has the old wire type bands. I don't know if these are cheaper from direct from this company, but if a fella is interested in upgrading from the wire bands, I'd check it out.
