Spartan & Shifting Problems

So this has happened to me a few times....and again today...I pulled out on the highway with some traffic gaining on me, so going about 30 I punch it. It picks up and starts moving fast and then on the next shift (maybe 3rd or 4th) it takes it three times of jerking before it finally shifts. Then once I turn off, my truck will not go into first. It just starts off in 2nd. The only way to get it going again, is to pull over and restart my truck and then everything is back to normal. Anyone else have this??? What the heck??? My truck only has 12000 miles on it and it has done it just about everytime I have went from rolling at 30-40 to WOT. Any ideas?

I disagree with your quote I haven't had any issues with mine and am completely happy with the Spartan! How can you make an all around statement like that (that's how spartan designs there tunes) have you installed and used everyone of the Spartan tuners and do you work there?(I doubt it) and you should not make random statements.

Have you tried reloading the tune?

Also, ProModRacer only says that because he gets in a pis***g match with Jeff nearly every thread.....

And it's "their", not "there". Learn to spell. I've never had that problem and have been running the 275 for 10k miles.

Mine does the same thing. If I haven't gotten on it good in a while, when I do it will do the exact thing you are talking about (although it does not start off in second afterwards). So maybe not the exact thing, but it will try to shift several times until finally shifting (either third or fourth gear). After getting on it good the first time, it will be fine for a while if I happen to try it again.

I had the 275 before and just recently loaded the 275 with tire recalibration. They both do the same.
