running spartan 275... whats the best oil?

i'm running the spartan 275 tune and using regular oil.. looking to change over to synthetic... whats the best oil to use and how many miles are you changing it?

I use Valvoline 5w40 synthetic and my truck loves it

Runnin 250 tune for the most part. Truck has Mobile 1 syn. in it now. Switchin to Amsoil 5-30 come next change in time for winter. Deff run synthetic. Truck will love you for it.

amount of oil?

i was getting it by the gallon, now going to be putting it in by the quart, what will it take? 15 quartes? and how many mile are u guys changing it witht the synthetic?

The highest I have ever seen it is 208. City driving it stays between 197-199. Highway driving....depending on how hard I am driving and how hot it is outside...I see 199-208. It doesn't get above 203 until I am above 85 mph and temps are 90+ with 75%+ humidity.

i have been running a non synthetic 5-40 and changing it every 2500 miles just because i get the oil at a 5 finger discounted price.... but i have been running the 275 and i was thinking that the synthetic would be better with the tune...
