Making turbo's scream!!

Ok guys i saw an f250 last night that when he floored it the turbo's made this kinda deep scream, not a whistle but a roar type sound.
I was wondering if anybody has heard anything like this and how the hell did he do it?? lol.
It had to be the sickest sound ive ever heard a diesel make.

Gotta ask what year? and if he had a 6.4 it could have had upgrade turbos, upgrade intercooler and intercooler piping, inlet elbow, blow off valves, aftermarket uppipes.

Well they make some crazy turbos out there for all we know it could have been a twin turbo 7.3 or a giant single 6.4 they can all sound cool like that with the right turbo and airflow mods.

thats crazy, i had a duramax make a crazy scream sound to me and i wanted it so bad.....wish i could make my truck sound like that....

Most likely a straight piped 6.0.....there are only 2 single turbo 6.4's out there that I know of, one of which is in Wyoming and the other is a dedicated sled puller. You will need to rake out quite a bit of money to get a different sound out of your truck....big ball bearing turbo's with Dirty Diesel Custom's free flow exhaust headers. Your looking at $7500+ just in air mods, not to mention all the fuel system mods needed to fuel the turbo's to make them worth a damn. Even the modified turbo's from Elite and Industrial don't sound much different from stock.

Have you heard (in person) a 6.4 straight piped? Mine sounds like a jet coming down the street. If people are outside, they'll usually turn their heads because it's such a hellish sound.

yea i think its more then just a straight pipe.....but i bet urs sounds good...

prob a 6.0 7.3 usally arent loud, and a 6.4 just sounds like a pissed off hair dryer
