Best DD

what is the BEST daily driver tune, i had the 250 on but i didnt like the hard shifts, and the smoke was a little much (my town is VERY strict on diesels)....i am on the 210 now and i like it much more, i dont know what kind of milage i will be getting but can anyone tell me?

i know there is a thread on the 310 but i am wondering about the 210 and 250

The 210 is a great daily driver. When I am not tune testing, I run my 210 tune for a daily driver. Fuel mileage won't be as good around town with the 210 as it would be with 250, but I prefer drivability over fuel economy personally.

Not to hijack, but you get better mileage out of a more aggressive tune?

Yep, even the canned tunes like superchips, etc say you'll get better mileage from a performance tune. I believe this is due to the harder shifts and the earlier TC lockups.....

The harder shifts aren't a factor in the improved fuel mileage, but earlier converter lock up will help.
