Is it OK to swap tunes frequently??

I'm running a spartan 210 tow tune currently. Now I do tow a lot (hence the reason I own the truck in the first place) but it’s always on the weekend. Is it OK to swap in say the 275 tune on Monday ,drive that during the week then go back to the 210 tow tune on Friday or am I just asking for trouble changing tunes that much???? What I don't want is to do a trans relearn twice a week and worst case having some computer thing go wrong in the middle of a tune and leave my truck a big driveway statue. Does anyone swap tunes this often??

I swap between the 275 and 310 tune every once in a while. I use the 275 the majority of the time, but change to the 310 to show off a little. If you are going to change tunes a lot, keep a charger on the batteries while loading the tunes. Your batteries will appreciate it.

How does the H&S take care of the tranny with switch on the fly? Doesn't that kinda throw the whole tranny re-learn out the window?

The lack of "shift on the fly" was the only thing I don't like about the Spartan. Everything else is great and I thought the benefits were greater, so I bought the Spartan and I'm happy with it. Back to the original question though, does anyone swap tunes twice a week and not have problems??? I would like to do this but messing that much with a computers programming doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated

I have changed tunes many times at this point. I have almost 30k tuned miles on my truck, and have never had a download issue. Just imagine how many times the guys over at Spartan have changed tunes during testing! I think the computers can handle many downloads without issue. I think you're fine. Jeff, am I right about this?

The PCM can handle all the downloads you can throw at it. All you are doing is flashing an EPROM.

Think of it as adding a new song to your IPOD. Same difference

I'm pretty sure the Trans tuning is the same for all their tunes therefore you only have to do the re-learn once and you can change power tunes at will. Sounds like you should of gotten the H&S in the first place.
