310 tune as a DD?

Anyone run the 310 tune as a daily? Thinking about buying the tune just to get more mpg but was wondering if anyone is running as a daily and how you like it. I know it will shift harder then my 250 but I hardly notice my 250 shifts. Thanks.

i run the 310 and 350 tunes daily...if you do the trans relearn they arent that bad of a shift...you do notice them though...what you'll need to get used to most is the touchy throttle

What are you getting on mpg. I mainly do hwy so my avg is normally higher then everyone elses. Right now with the 250 tune I can get 22 mpg or so on the hwy.

I'm looking at Spartan website and the 310 tune is 100 bucks and the 275 tune is 300 dollars. Now can I just buy the 310 tune or do I have to buy both 275 and the 310?

You can't purchase the 310 tune without already having the 275 tune. The 310 is $100 update from the 275....just like the 350 tune is a $100 update for the 310 tune.

Between the 250 and the 310 tunes, what kind of increase will I see in the mpg department?

The 275 tune has always been my go to tune for fuel mileage. I find it to be a great daily driver for a race tune and it does great in the fuel economy department. The 310 is also great for fuel mileage, but it is an all out race tune so it can be too aggressive at times for a daily driver.

I understand what you are saying but I mainly drive on the hwy so I stay in overdrive most of the time. I do very little city driving so I'm not to worry about the hard shifts. I was just curious what improvements I will see in the mpg department between the 250 and the 310 tunes. Just seeing if it is worth the 400 dollars. I have no problem spending money but just want to make sure I'm spending money on something I might get my money back on.

I have never really done a comparison between the 250 and the higher tunes for mileage. I have always gone with the 275 and 310 tunes for mileage when I go on long highway trips. Hopefully someone will be able to chime in and compare for your benefit.
