SPARTAN vs. SCT - Suggestions?

I have SCT right now and I'm not getting great fuel economy. Believe it or not, I'm getting exactly what I was getting when I had my DPF still installed. I'm now running a 4" downpipe back exhaust, Airaid intake, and DPF delete SCT tune, running on the "performance" mode. It's really bad - I'm seeing 11 to 12 city and 16 ish highway. I mean, I was getting this mpg with a dang filter!!

My question is, could there be something wrong with my truck? It runs GREAT with plenty of power...making 40lbs of boost when I really lay into it. There also arent' any DTC codes being thrown at all.

Should I look into Spartan? Does anyone else have this same problem?

Yep, go with custom tunes from Innovative. They're the fastest tunes out there.

Can you give me more details on the package you offer? I'm just trying to see the 14-15 mpg city that everyone else is claiming. One other thing I forgot to mention...when I'm in "Extreme" mode on the SCT - my computer tells me i'm getting 15-16 city...but when calculated manually it's really only 12. Not sure what's going on there.

The thing lies. Mine is saying I am getting 29.8 MPG now. I am getting closer to 19 MPG.

Everyone is finding that the higher horsepower custom tunes are yielding better mileage too. I'm running Innovative's "Street Tune" and get a combined city/highway mileage of 15. On the highway only and driven conservatively on a long trip recently, I got 19 mpg with that same tune.

I haven't had his Extreme Street tune on long enough to check mileage but everyone says that's even better! As the Nike Ads state: "Just Do It"

If he just wants to delete the DPF and run a mild tune, the Edge unit will work just fine. Its not the best option available, but it will work. Spartan is the best of the best though for mileage and tuning.

I started out with the Edge. Didn't like it. Not really driveable. I found out that this has to do with the fact that they don't tune the trans. This is why they limit their tunes to 140 hp. I didn't see any increase in mileage with the Edge.
