S&B or AFE or other?
If I were to get a aftermarket cold air intake to go along with a chip (not sure what yet.. possibly SCT, H&S mini maxi, or H&S XRT) what filter do you guys think would be best to get? Can I expect 1-2mpg improvement with it? Thanks.

you don't even need a CAI if you plan on running smaller hp tunes. A performance drop-in filter from AFE would be enough. IF you plan on running tunes around 250+, then yes a full intake will be needed. Until you tune and delete the DPF, your not really going to see a lot of MPG gained.

afe stage 2 si, ready my post, it's a***** to install but after finally getting it properly fit my egt's went down about 150 degrees at 70mph. I am reading around 600. I hammered it to about 100mph and egt rose to 12-1300, totally managable. Nice turbo whistle. put the stock air box next to the afe, quite a volume difference, so when you run a tune you'll get the air required. Also I noticed less black smoke, which is good.

AFE or S&B would be my pics, I run S&B on my personal truck. You will definitely notice a difference in throttle response and mid range power when you install one.
