5 Inch Cat with a Full Spartan 310 Tune.....

I am still looking to see if anyone has installed a high flow 5 inch cat to their trucks with the Spartan 310 tune?

I am getting tired of being yelled at by everyone when I pull out into traffic! (of course they have to catch up at a light or stop sign)

Does anyone have any idea as to how much the EGT's will increase?

will increase? idealy it should go down if you are removing the dpf, is that what you are talking about or am i just confused? haha

I have the Delete with the 310 tune, and I want to add the High Flow Cat to the truck to reduce the smoke, so the huggers will not bother me.

Drop the tune to a lower power level.

In all honesty, the people that complain about your truck will even if you barely smoke. Theres a lot of those "anti-truck" people out there.

Also wont we just plug a Cat if we are putting out good amounts of smoke? I knew a kid who clogged his Cat in his old nissian something rather. He had it WOT (low power) going up a hill for like a minute, and under the cowl he could see the exhaust manifold glowing.

Add turbo's and other air increasing mods. Bout all I can tell you.....or tune it down.

A cat does very little to decrease smoke output.

If you wanted to lose smoke, you'd have to put the DPF back on, get faster spooling turbos, or drop the tune level, in my technical opinion.
