those of you with EGR delete.....

Hey guys Im having a few problems with my elite wastegate/egr delete that I recently installed while I had the cab pulled and I was hoping that some of you may have experience with this particular problem. After installing the kit I have developed a serious vibration in my dash and my trucks interior exhaust sound and turbo noise has become WAY louder. Im 99% sure it is not an exhaust leak so basically I have narrowed it down to two things either its normal and the removal of the EGR system has caused the truck to become way louder (does the truck actually get louder with this kit?) run rougher and cause a vibration in the dash OR the more likely cause is I can see under the hood that my wastgate dump pipe is smashed up against the engine compartment under the windsheild wipers and thats causeing all sorts of vibration and noise to be tranmited into the cab. Basically what Im asking is if deleteing the egr will cause any of these symptoms. what do you guys think? Im just wanting to make sure this isnt normal before I go puting serious time and effort into fixing that pipe. Thanks for the help.

You will not get any extra noise with a EGR Delete. Sounds like something is rubbing on the cowl.

I think i now what is causing your noise problem. It happened to me.
There is a problem with a lot of the tial wastgates the valve loosens up and must be re assembled using locktight. Mine must be sent to tial for a new seal or something. Tial knows about this problem. And they will fix it.
I purchased there new shorter wastegate, Its a direct replacement for there vm 44mm unit. Mine immediatly quited up alot. and now it also works correctlly and makes boost.
I also had a ams 1000 boost controller that was mis installed by josh at jags pro truck shop in zimmerman mn, so i found someone who knew how to do it right. It now works well.
